These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the website located at acceleratedpath.com (“Site”), including access to any programs, courses, or member content delivered through this Site. AcceleratedPath is a branded program and content delivery platform operated by Shayne Mauricette, sole proprietor, operating as CortexEngine.ai, Ontario, Canada (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Purchases that grant access to AcceleratedPath content are processed through CortexEngine.ai. By accessing this Site or any content within it, you agree to these Terms and to the CortexEngine.ai Terms and Conditions (cortexengine.ai/terms), which are incorporated herein by reference.
1. Services
CortexEngine.ai provides business transformation consulting, coaching, and educational programs primarily for professionals in financial services and healthcare who are transitioning to private practice or entrepreneurial ownership.
All Services are provided for informational, educational, and consulting purposes only. Nothing on this Site or in our Services constitutes legal, financial, medical, regulatory, or investment advice. You are solely responsible for evaluating the applicability of any information or guidance to your specific situation and for consulting qualified professionals where appropriate.
2. Eligibility
By using this Site or purchasing our Services, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years of age
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
- You are not prohibited from receiving our Services under the laws of your jurisdiction
- The information you provide to us is accurate and complete

3. Purchases and Payment
All prices are listed and charged in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated at point of sale. If you are located outside the United States, your bank or payment provider may charge currency conversion fees — we are not responsible for such fees.
Payment is processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By completing a purchase, you agree to Stripe’s Terms of Service in addition to these Terms. We do not store your payment card information on our systems.
All sales are considered final at the time of purchase unless a specific refund policy is stated for a particular program at point of sale. Where a refund policy applies, it will be clearly disclosed before you complete your purchase.
4. Refunds and Cancellations
Unless a specific written refund policy is stated for a given program or service at the point of sale, all purchases are non-refundable.
For programs or services subject to a refund window, the following conditions apply:
- Refund requests must be submitted to legal@cortexengine.ai within the stated window
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval
- We reserve the right to deny refund requests where there is evidence of misuse of program materials
For Ontario residents: nothing in this section limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario) with respect to future performance agreements or internet agreements where applicable.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THIS SITE AND ALL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SHAYNE MAURICETTE AND CORTEXENGINE.AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for fraud, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Business, financial, and professional outcomes vary significantly among individuals and depend on numerous factors outside our control, including your level of effort, experience, market conditions, and circumstances. We make no guarantees or representations that you will achieve any specific result, income level, or business outcome as a result of purchasing or participating in our Services. 9. Third-Party Links and Services
This Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. These links are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party sites. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflicts of law principles.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services shall first be submitted to good-faith mediation. If mediation fails, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the ADR Institute of Canada, with proceedings conducted in Ontario, Canada, in the English language.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
For EU consumers: nothing in this clause deprives you of the right to bring proceedings before the courts of your country of residence or to invoke the mandatory consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction.
